Inspired by the grand, classical landscape painting of Fan K’uan, a Northern Sung Dynasty Painter circa 10th and 11th century, Fei Pai uses his unique free and swift stroke to delineate Fan K’uan’s mountains from a bird’s eye view. The Celestial horse glides through those mountains, traveling through space and time to enjoy a moment with the ancients.

The gracefully curving body of the horse is reminiscent of a dancer.
